Right Angle is looking to expand its market share by launching its own product, a unique elevator control button assembly. The project consists of designing and building a novel prototype to be integrated into the partner’s elevator control panel. The project consists of developing a new component (button-integrated circuit combination) for elevator control panels.

Vocalage Give Targets: Innovations in Social Giving
Vocalage Inc., a high-tech spinoff company of the Interactive Media Laboratory at the University of Toronto, has partnered with George Brown College to develop its “Give Button”. The Give Button, which can be placed on any online product page, offers a social giving service where organizations such as universities and hospitals can allow groups of people to contribute to specific fundraising goals, such as scholarships or medical equipment.
Komodo Tecla Cellphone Interface
Komodo Open Labs Inc. (KOL) and George Brown College’s Centre for Construction and Engineering Technology (CCET) are collaborating to develop a production version of the Tecla Bluetooth interface for Android® and iPhones®. KOL’s Tecla is a set of open software and hardware tools that facilitate access to electronic devices for people with mobility impairments.
Development of a web-based information dashboard
The GBC Centre for Construction and Engineering has partnered with Fleetmetrica Inc. to assist in the development of their product SafetyMonitor™. Fleetmetrica Inc. is a new business venture incorporated in early 2010 with plans to offer an enhanced web-based information dashboard to commercial heavy truck fleet owners.
