Design, Development, and Testing of Concrete Reinforcement Positioning Product

Newark Recycled Paperboard Solutions

This project is to test and analyze The Newark Group’s paper based wire mesh positioning product for commercial concrete pouring use. The Newark Group currently creates paperboard products using recycled secondary fibers. The Newark Group and George Brown College’s Centre for Construction and Engineering Technologies have partnered to validate a new cost-effective product that can be used to hold the welded wire mesh in position while concrete is being poured and to ensure that it will not interfere with the flow and density of the concrete.
