Development of the Knowledge is the Best Medicine app for Android

The Knowledge is the best medicine (KiBM) program, supported by leading healthcare organizations; Canada’s Research Based Pharmaceutical Companies (Rx&D) and the Institute for Safe Medication Practices (ISMP) Canada, is expanding their mobile platform to include an Android version of the MyMedRec app. This mobile app helps consumers take control of their health by keeping track of their prescriptions, and provides them with the ability to work with their healthcare team to manage their medications safely and appropriately. Rx&D, ISMP Canada, and George Brown College will be working together to analyze the existing iOS app, as well as design, develop, and optimize the Android app. Investigator: Przemyslaw Pawluk (Principal), School of Computer Technology.
