e-Learning Modules for the Community Sector

VHA Home Healthcare

The objective of this project was the development of innovative, interactive and accessible e-Learning modules that support knowledge uptake and knowledge translation for point of care health care providers in the home care sector. Desired project outcomes: (1) Develop 2 courses/programs that address gaps in education for home care sector health care providers; (2) Develop learning program that supports the transition of health care students from student to autonomous practitioner in the home care sector; and (3) Develop learning program that promotes literacy in the use of technology devices in the field. GBC nursing and PSW students assisted with the development, simulation and field testing of the modules.
