Minimal Pairs Mobile App

Mobi-Learning Inc.

This project is intended to design and develop an iOS formatted version of Mobi-Learning’s MinimalPairs application to support mobile-based English language learning. The MinimalPairs application helps ESL learners differentiate between similar sounding words and expressions. MinimalPairs has been developed for Android and Windows, but requires student support to create the iOS-compatible product. This collaborative project will also serve to test and validate Mobi-Learning’s application framework, with the results being used to improve the framework and consequently future language learning applications. Mobi-Learning Inc. is an Ontario-based start-up specializing in the design and development of innovative mobile learning products and services for English as a second language (ESL) teachers and adult learners.
