NetZED at AQUALINA Project | Phase 2

Tridel and Tower Labs @ MaRS

The objective of this project is to create a 3D model of, and perform artificial and natural daylight performance analysis on, the Net Zero Energy Dwelling (NetZED) suite at the Aqualina condominium, as well as create visualizations of the suite to showcase each system and how they work. The Tridel Group of Companies is one of the largest residential real estate groups in Canada, and consists of several affiliates focused in diverse areas of real estate including development, sales, construction, property management and other related real estate services. Tridel’s Aqualina project is a condominium residence which will be located at the Bayside Toronto Community. The Aqualina condominium residence project is significant to Tridel in process innovation and digital technology adoption as it is their first project using BIM Technology. Investigators: Petro Karanxha, Centre for Construction and Engineering Technologies; Dante Casasanta, B.Arch.Sci., M.Arch, MRAIC, Centre for Construction and Engineering Technologies; Jean-Paul Amore, BSc., M.Math, MRAIC, School of Design
