Patient Interface for Computerized Oral Health Risk Assessment Tool

Root2Crown

Root2Crown is a MaRS-backed startup that intends to lead the market in terms of automated risk assessment solutions for dental practices. They seek to partner with GBC School of Design to develop a beta prototype of the patient interfce for their first product, a computerized Oral Health Risk Assessment tool to determine caries risk that will replace the present paper format. They will use this prototype for trials at the dental clinic in UofT’s Faculty of Dentistry and potentially in GBC’s WAVE Clinic. Under the direction of PI Rocco Panacci and in close collaboration with Root2Crown’s CEO (BA background), 5 student research assistants will work out of class to design, develop and test the tool.
