Vocalage Give Targets: Innovations in Social Giving

Vocalage Inc., a high-tech spinoff company of the Interactive Media Laboratory at the University of Toronto, has partnered with George Brown College to develop its “Give Button”. The Give Button, which can be placed on any online product page, offers a social giving service where organizations such as universities and hospitals can allow groups of people to contribute to specific fundraising goals, such as scholarships or medical equipment.

Business Analysis & Prototyping of the Live Well with Parkinson’s Website

Live Well with Parkinson’s Disease Inc., a Toronto-based start-up company headed by Dr. Galit Kleiner-Fisman, and George Brown College have partnered to elicit requirements and develop a user-friendly multimedia prototype website to educate patients and caregivers on Parkinson’s disease, in the hopes of helping to optimize their independence and quality of life.

Wound Care Community Hub

Incite Performance Management Inc. is a development stage venture based in Toronto, Ontario offering sustainable solutions to healthcare individuals and institutions. Incite and GBC are working together to develop a prototype of the PEP Community – a social media knowledge/collaboration community HUB platform, specifically targeted towards nurses and wound care.
