This project is to develop 36 healthy recipes from four ethnic groups representing the population around the Black Creek Community Health Center. A second project, Healthy Condition & Ethnic Specific Meal Plans – Media Development, of the project will consist of George Brown College coordinating with Seneca College to develop media based on the recipes that can be integrated with Connected Wellness Project, collaboration project between NexJ Systems Inc. and York University.
Main Streets of Markham: Making a Regional Road Into a Community Spine
Regional Road 7 (Highway 7) was once a major highway connecting small communities to Southern Ontario. It has now become an urban traffic artery as a result of the creation of the parallel major highway 407 and increasing residential development. This section that runs through Markham, Ontario, traverses the longest axis of the community.
Mapping Innovation
Mapping Innovation is a collaborative project between Polytechnics Canada, MaRS, CONII and GBC. The goal is to create a central online resource for industry, community, clinical organizations, government, and academic institutes that displays a geographic representation of innovation in Canada.
